I am putting myself forward to be a candidate for the SNP Highlands and Islands regional list.
I am a clinical pharmacist at New Craigs hospital in Inverness and live in Strathpeffer with my husband and three children. I come from Ullapool and have friends and family throughout the region - my mother is a native Gaelic speaker from Shawbost, Lewis.
As your MSP I will work tirelessly so that our region is at the forefront of policy decisions. We can ensure local employment is expanded in forestry, farming, crofting, fishing, responsible fish farming, tourism, energy, engineering and house building so that this is a growing, vibrant community - and of course to achieve our aim - Independence for Scotland.
Please vote Maree Todd #1.
Còmhla nì sinn Alba nas fheàrr. Dùrachdan.
Together we can make Scotland better.
Maree is one of those young women — busy enough with a career, her own family and Strathpeffer community action — who managed to find space and time from nowhere to make a big contribution in the indyref – and beyond.

Maree is a very hardworking person with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of others. She is exactly the sort of person that we need to represent our Highlands and Islands interests in the Scottish Parliament and I hope she is widely supported to do that.
